IPL 2026 All 10 Teams Purse Left and Retained Players Likely Salary List

From Rishabh Pant’s ₹27 Cr deal to Shreyas Iyer and Heinrich Klaasen’s mega contracts, explore the complete salary list of IPL 2026 best retained players. See who’s earning big ahead of the Mini Auction.

Money and the Indian Premier League are two things that can never be separated. The biggest T20 league in the world is known as one of the most valuable sports leagues in the world – going neck-and-neck with the likes of the NFL, EPL, etc. While Cricketers don’t get a salary that is comparable ot the other sports personalities around the world, if you compare per-match salary, the cricketers in the IPL get a surreal salary.

The IPL is currently in its 19th edition, and the current focus for all teams shall once again be money as the IPL Auction is around the corner. Teams will look to release players who are expensive, and don’t add much value to the side. This will give teams the option to look for fresh and emerging players in the Auction. There is no dearth of talent in the cricketing world, and given a huge supply, teams usually get the quality players they look for.

The IPL 2025 Mega Auction had seen each team having a purse of INR 120 Cr. Given the history, expect the BCCI to increase the purse to INR 125 Cr, which will be a good 5 Cr addition to buy fresh players. So, as we wait for the IPL 2026 Mini Auction, let’s, in the meantime, analyse the existing squad of all 10 teams, the predicted retained players, their salary list, and the expected purse left for the Auction.
