IPL 2025 Auction Set wise Complete List of Indian Players

Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant in focus in our complete list of set-wise Indian players for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.

November 24 and 25 will witness one of the most awaited events of the season, the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. A total of 574 players will go under the hammer as 10 teams gear up for the Auction with 204 spots up for grabs. Earlier this month, all 10 teams had announced the retentions as 46 players were retained ahead of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. With 574 names set to go under the hammer, the Indian players unlike the Mini Auctions, will be in focus this time. 

A total of 336 Indian players are set to go under the hammer with 48 players being capped players and 288 players being uncapped players. Among the capped Indian players, Ravichandran Ashwin is the most experienced player having played 212 matches. Whereas Akash Deep is the least experienced player having played just 8 matches. In terms of age, Ravichandran Ashwin is the oldest of all at 38 years of age. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest of all at 14 years of age. 

In terms of base price, 23 Indian players have registered their names at the highest base price of 2 Cr. The IPL 2025 Mega Auction is scheduled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and will be telecast from 3 pm IST on both days. The Auction will be conducted set-wise with as many as 79 sets to be conducted. Each set will roughly see at least 6 players, and they will be randomly selected basis a draw. So, as we wait for the Auction, let’s in the meantime look at the set wise Indian players list at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.  

IPL 2025 Set wise Indian Players List

Set 1

  1. Shreyas Iyer – 2 Cr
  2. Rishabh Pant – 2 Cr
  3. Arshdeep Singh  – 2 Cr

The first set will see three Indian players going under the hammer, and those are Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Arshdeep Singh. This will be quite interesting as being the early entrants, they can attract huge bids. While KKR can’t use RTM on Iyer, DC and PBKS can use the RTM options on Pant and Arshdeep respectively. 

Set 2 

  1. KL Rahul – 2 Cr
  2. Mohammad Shami – 2 Cr
  3. Mohammad Siraj – 2 Cr
  4. Yuzvendra Chahal – 2 Cr

For 2nd set, we are looking at 4 Indian players: KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Yuzvendra Chahal. In all likelihood, we should see the most expensive player at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction from these two sets. 

Set 3

  1. Devdutt Padikkal – 2 Cr
  2. Rahul Tripathi – 0.75 Cr

For 3rd set, there are only two Indian players, Devdutt Padikkal and Rahul Tripathi.

  1. Ravichandaran Ashwin – 2 Cr
  2. Venkatesh Iyer – 2 Cr
  3. Harshal Patel – 2 Cr

For set 4, we are looking at the names like Ravichandran Ashwin, Venkatesh Iyer, and Harshal Patel.

  1. Ishan Kishan – 2 Cr
  2. Jitesh Sharma – 1 Cr

Set 6

  1. Avesh Khan – 2 Cr
  2. Prasidh Krishna – 2 C
  3. Khaleel Ahmed – 2 Cr
