IPL 2026 Released Players Full Team-wise List for All 10 Teams
From Andre Russell to Venkatesh Iyer, explore the full team-wise IPL 2026 released players list for all 10 teams ahead of the Mini auction.
The IPL 2026 kicks off in a grand style, as all 10 teams officially announce their player retentions ahead of the Mini Auction. The 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League shall witness a Mini Auction; hence, teams were given the freedom to retain almost the entire squad. With this being a Mini Auction, almost all teams decided to continue with their core of 10-12 players, with a few backups also added alongside them.
While most retentions felt on point, the teams also let aside their emotions, and focused purely from a financial and performance angle. Hence, we saw many teams taking a few tough decisions, and they released many big-ticket players and non-performing players, too. Among some of the big names that have been released are Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, Glenn Maxwell, Liam Livingstone, Devon Conway, Josh Inglis, etc.
In addition to players getting released, for the first time in IPL history, we saw teams giving trades equal importance.
