IPL 2026 SRH vs LSG 10th Match Each Team Best Playing 11

With Lucknow looking for first win, explore the SRH vs LSG match 10 both teams best playing 11 for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.

It’s match number 10 at the TATA IPL 2026, and we have the Sunrisers Hyderabad taking in the Lucknow Super Giants in SRH’s home den, Hyderabad. Both teams started with a big loss in their opening match, but SRH made a solid comeback in their second match after defeating the Kolkata Knight Riders in a high-scoring contest. LSG, meanwhile, would like to forget their first match, as nothing worked from it. Be it player form or their newly-former decision making, literally nothing worked for them in their opening match.

SRH will be happy as they jor get to continue their winning momentum by playing their next match at home. However, for LSG, things would definitely not be easy. The team made tons of changes compared to last year. They disturbed a well-settled batting order, and now they are planning to restart once again this season. But they will now be running into a back-in-form Daanav ki team, SRH, who will now look even more ominous in their approach in the third match.

It will be a day game in Hyderabad, and that means the pitch is expected to favour the batters, so another high-scoring contest is up for taking. Both teams have an explosive batting lineup, but given LSG’s change of strategy, if they bat first, the score may not be as high as it would be if SRH bat first. So, with Sunday locked for a solid contest, let’s look at the IPL 2026 SRH vs LSG match 10 best playing 11 for both teams in the Indian Premier League.

If madness had a prime example, it would be the playing 11 combination of Lucknow Super Giants in their first match. From breaking a strong opening combination of Aiden Markam and Mitchell Marsh, to playing Rishabh Pant as an opener, to asking Nicholas Pooran to play at 5, to just playing 7 batters initially, everything felt out of place about the LSG team’s combination for the first match. But it was only their first match, so it will be interesting to see if the LSG team and Rishabh Pant continue with the same combination after just one loss.

While IPL is definitely a big tournament, and teams can make up for the losses as the tournament progresses, the LSG’s think tank with regards to their playing 11 combination is definitely a worry. While LSG may not need tons of changes in their playing 11, they still have to make their bowling combination right. So, have to slot in Digvesh Rathi, and let go of Anrich Nortje or Shahbaz Ahmed. However, if they let go of Shahbaz, they may be short of a batter.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad team will mostly continue with their winning combination, and that means Harshal Patel is once again likely to miss out of the playing 11. SRH dropped Harshal in only their second match, and this was certainly a shocker, given Harshal has been a solid bowler in the IPL in the last few years. But given SRH needed a new-ball bowler, they had no other option, but to play David Payne above Harshal. Meanwhile, the rest of the lineup should continue as is for this match.

Overall, the focus will be on how Rishabh Pant and LSG continue with their new strategy. Will they continue to back, and make it a success, or make tons of changes after just one loss? For now, they may not think too defensively, just after one loss. So, expect Pant to once again open the innings alongside Marsh, with Pooran batting at 5. But can LSG open their account? Well, let’s wait and watch.
