IPL 2025 Best and Dangerous Uncapped Players 11 of the Season

Ayush Badoni to lead in our uncapped players best and dangerous playing 11 for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Uncapped Players!! Yes, that’s the current flavor of the IPL 2025 season as many young players have not only made a mark in their debut season by surpassing expectations, but have also performed better than most experienced players currently playing in the tournament. IPL as a platform gives a tremendous platform to budding young cricketers to showcase their talent, and this year has been no different in terms of young talent on display.

When we talk about the uncapped players, the first thing that we noticed this year is the fearless approach in batting as well as bowling. As a batter, you see these players hitting from ball 1, and are not afraid of getting out. Similarly, as a bowler, you see these bowlers focusing on wickets more than containing the runs. Whatever type of player you are, being fearless brings the best out of any player, and this is a quality that reduces with age a bit.

The IPL 2025 has seen at least one uncapped player from each team making a mark in the tournament. Fortunately, we have players across the lineup performing extremely well for their team. So, how about we take a look at 11 such players who have been excellent so far in IPL 2025? Well, for selecting the best uncapped players 11 of the season, we will look at the performance of uncapped. Also, we shall look at only those uncapped players who are young, and only recently made their third debut in the Indian Premier League

Batting Lineup

Starting with the opening combination, we have two dynamic openers, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya. While one is 14 years of age, the other is 24 years of age. Both are young, but they have played fearless cricket this season. While Priyansh had played right from the first match, Vaibhav has only 3 matches. But whatever we have seen of these two, they look immensely talented, and have also hit a century in their debut season.

With a dynamic opening duo, the middle-order is also rock solid. For number 3, we have the best uncapped wicket-keeper of the season so far, and that’s Prabsimran Singh. Prab usually plays as an opener, but number 3 isn’t a bad place for him. Prab has been equally good as Priyansh, and has scored over 300 runs so far in the season. Aside from Prab, Angkrish Raghuvanshi from KKR and Ayush Badoni from LSG have been rock solid in the middle-order for their respective teams.

Talking about the performance of Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ayush Badoni, both have played all the matches for their respective teams, and have also played a key role in the middle-order for the. While Angkrish has scored around 240+ runs for KKR, Ayush has around 250+ runs. Given the star-studded batting lineup in their side, being among runs with a good strike rate is itself an achievement for these two young players.

Bowling Lineup

With a solid top 5, the finishers are also superb in their role. In general, there are many uncapped finishers this season who have done well. Among the notable names, we have Ashutosh Sharma from Delhi Capitals, Shashank Singh from PBKS, Aniket Verma from SRH, Abdul Samad from LSG, etc. But two players who look to represent the future, and have also done so far are Nehal Wadhera from PBKS, and Vipraj Nigam from Delhi Capitals. While Nehal has immense talent, his contributions often go under the radar. Vipraj, on the other hand, seems a solid all-rounder, and has done fantastically well in both the departments.

Coming to the bowling department, we have a 3-pace and 2-spin bowling combination. In the pace department, we have the trio of Vaibhav Arora, Prince Yadav, and Ashwani Kumar. Whereas in the spin department, we have Digvesh Singh and Vipraj Nigam. As compared to the batting, the bowling looks a touch below par looking at the names. However, their performance seems to have been overshadowed by the batters, who have undoubtedly been top-notch.

In terms of performance, only Vaibhav Arora, Vipraj Nigam, and Digvesh Singh have played all the matches so far. Whereas Ashwani Kumar and Prince Yadav have played in parts. Overall, Vaibhav has 12 wickets to his name, Digvesh has 10, and Vipraj has 9. Whereas Ashwani and Prince have less wickets, but have looked impressive with their bowling. Aside from these bowlers, there aren’t many impressive uncapped pacers in this year’s IPL.
