All their pacers lack experience, and more importantly, almost all are injured, and recovering at the NCA. It’s a dire state for the LSG owners, who would be hoping for the recovery of their pacers. Regardless of that, LSG’s pacers are below-par with respect to the competition, and would need some solid performance to prove the critics wrong.

For number 9, we have the Rajasthan Royals team, and barring Jofra Archer, and somewhat Sandeep Sharma, the other two pacers are still young in the Indian Premier League. Sure, Tushar has done well in the last two years in the IPL, but Akash Madhwal is still inexperienced, and is yet to prove his mettle on the big stage. Hence, RR have a slightly mixed bag when we talk about their best pacers for IPL 2025.

Number 8 belongs to Gujarat Titans, and the team has Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Ishant Sharma as their best pacers. In an ideal scenario, GT may not play a fourth pacer, hence Ishat may not be of that much utility to the team. But talking purely from a quality perspective, it’s a decent bunch of experienced pacers with the only drawback being the adaptability of Siraj and Prasidh with regards to the T20 format.

For number 7, we have the KKR team with Anrich Nortje, Andre Russel, Harshit Rana, and Vaibhav Arora as their best pacers. All four pacers for KKR should feature in the playing 11, and they bring unique attributes to the table. While Nortje and Russell are more death-over bowlers, Vaibhav and Harshit are solid for powerplay and middle overs. Having said that, Nortje has injury issues, and the other three aren’t the most dangerous bowlers in T20 cricket. 

#6: Royal Challengers Bengaluru Best Pacers for IPL 2025

4. Rasikh Dar

For number 6, we have the RCB team with Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, and Rasikh Dar as their best pacers. The RCB team has two good experienced pacers in the form of Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and two decent emerging pacers in the form of Yash Dayal and Rasikh Dar. It’s a decent bunch of pacers that can perform well on Chinnaswamy’s pitch. However, how Rasikh Dar performs will be important as he should play a good supporting role for RCB to perform well in the tournament. 

#5: Punjab Kings Best Pacers for IPL 2025

4. Kuldeep Sen

For number 5, we have Punjab Kings, and they have a good bunch of pacers in the form of Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, Lockie Ferguson, and Kuldeep Sen. While Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, and Lockie Ferguson are accomplished and experienced pacers, the team might face an issue with the fourth pacer, Kuldeep Sen, who has the skills, but lacks experience. So, overall three good pacers, ad 1 decent pacer isn’t a bad place to be for PBKS.

For number 4, we have Chennai Super Kings with Matheesha Pathirana, Sam Curran, Khaleel Ahmed, and Anshul Kamboj as their top 4 pacers. While Pathirana, Sam, and Khaleel are established pacers, Anshul may be required to bowl on pace-friendly wickets like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc. While CSK’s pace bowling looks, the form of Sam Curran and Khaleel Ahmed will be important for CSK to have in roads on away matches.

Number 3 belongs to Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have three solid pacers in the form of Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, Pat Cummins, and a decent pacer in the form of Simarjeet Singh. SRH’s top 3 pacers are top-notch pacers, and have already done well in this format in the last few years. With three solid pacers in the squad, the need for a fourth pacer like Simarjeet Singh may not be that much required. Hence, SRH are well equipped in the pace department for IPL 2025. 

#2: Mumbai Indians Best Pacers for IPL 2025

For number 2, we have the Mumbai Indians team with Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar, and Hardik Pandya as their top 4 pacers. Needless to say, this is an excellent pace quartet, and probably the best powerplay bowling unit in the competition. The only issue with MI’s pace setup is injury concerns. If they can manage the injuries, this pace quarter will bring many accolades to the side.

4. Mukesh Kumar

Finally, for the number 1 position, we have the Delhi Capitals team with all their four pacers, Mitchell Starc, Mohit Sharma, T. Natarajan, and Mukesh Kumar are established and proven bowlers in this format. The team is well-suited to bowl in all phases of the match. So, be it powerplay where we will see Starc and Mukesh, middle overs where we will see Mukesh and Natarajan, or death bowling, where we will see Natarajan and Mohit.
